I love visiting Las Vegas, and I especially love visiting with my family. When I was planning a girls weekend trip last year I knew exactly where we were going to stay. Nothing says girls trip like a relaxing spa weekend in the Nevada desert.
The JW Marriott in Las Vegas, Nevada
A short fifteen-minute drive away from the Las Vegas Strip and you will find my favorite little desert oasis that is the JW Marriott.
From the enormous rooms to the 11,000 square foot pool, the JW Marriott offers something special at any age.
As a Marriott elite member, we received an automatic upgrade upon arriving at the hotel to a two-bedroom suite which included an incredibly massive wrap-around balcony. The lavish beds, marbled bathrooms, and double living rooms made us feel as if we were in a dream house and not some hotel room.
Nothing says girl’s getaway like a trip to the spa. After our pedicures we peacefully made our way through the six invigorating chambers of the Hydrotherapy Circuit Pool. Ending our day with the Healing Hydration Wrap making us feel like the pampered ladies we deserve to be!
Hidden oasis in the Nevada desert
The outside pool centers around a cascading tropical waterfall complete with two slides which is outrageously fun for all ages. We may or may not have tested the out after a few pina coladas. 😉
When we weren’t eating at one of the ten restaurants on site, you might have found us outside roaming around the 50 acres unwinding among the lush gardens and feeding the fish around the ponds. The Marriott is located off the strip which is minutes away from Red Rock Canyon. We took advantage of this located and explored Nevada’s natural beauties by horseback.
A mother-daughter relationship is precious and just like every other relationship, needs help strengthening every once in a while. Nothing helps strengthen the bond between a mother and her daughter than taking the time to share new experiences together.
